Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BizBoost Limited (“BizBoost”, “we”, “us”) is a private company limited by shares, registered in Ireland with the Companies Registration Office under number 817845. Our registered office is The Cottage, Clonswords, Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin, A41 W440. You can reach us at productions@bizboost.ie or on +353 87 210 4736. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

Free website and SEO check requests. When you use the form on our website we collect your business name, what you do, your town, your phone number and your website (if you give it). We use it to look at how your business shows up online and to contact you about the check you asked for. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

Bookings. When you book a call through Cal.com we receive your name, email address, phone number and anything you write in the booking notes, so we can hold the call. Legal basis: steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b)).

Customers. If you become a customer we keep your contact and billing details, the content you send us for your website, records of the work we do, our messages with you, and the access you give us (website editor logins and Manager access to your Google Business Profile). Legal basis: performing our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)) and keeping financial records the law requires (Article 6(1)(c)).

Messages. When you email, call, WhatsApp or message us on Instagram, we keep the conversation so we can reply and keep a record of what was agreed. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running our business and answering you (Article 6(1)(f)).

Website visits. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you. It records the page, the referring website, the country and the type of device.

3. If we contacted your business first

We look for local businesses that could benefit from our services, using public business listings on Google Maps and the businesses’ own websites. For each business we keep: the business name, trade, address, business phone number, website, Instagram link (only if it is on the business’s own website), Google rating and number of reviews, our notes about the business’s website and Google profile, and a record of any messages we send and receive.

We use this to offer our services to your business. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in telling local businesses about services that are relevant to them (Article 6(1)(f)). We only send a first message by WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS or email to limited companies, or to people who have agreed to hear from us. We do not make automated calls.

Every message we send tells you who we are, where we found your details, and how to stop hearing from us. If you tell us to stop, we will not contact you again. We keep a minimal record (business name and number) only so that we never contact you by mistake in future.

If we have not heard back from you, we delete your business’s record 12 months after our last contact. You can object at any time by replying “stop”, or by emailing productions@bizboost.ie.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, security and cookie-free visit statistics.
• Hostinger: hosts the automation server that receives website form submissions and organises our work.
• Notion: our customer and lead records.
• Google: email (Google Workspace), Google Maps Platform (to find business listings) and Google Business Profile (for customers who add us as a Manager).
• Stripe: payments. We never see or store your card details.
• Cal.com: call bookings.
• Telegram: internal notifications to our team about new enquiries.
• Anthropic and OpenAI: AI tools that help us draft messages and replies. We send only what is needed (business details, not sensitive data), and under their business terms they do not use it to train their models. A person at BizBoost reads and sends every message.
• Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram): when we message each other there.
• Domain registrars: to register your .ie domain in your business’s name.

5. International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep data

• Check requests and bookings: 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
• Outreach records: 12 months after our last contact (opt-out records are kept so we never contact you again).
• Customer records: for as long as you are a customer, then 6 years for financial and tax records, as Irish law requires.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to move it to another provider. You can object at any time to us using your data for marketing, and we will stop. We reply within one month. Email productions@bizboost.ie.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access to our records is limited to the people who need it, protected by strong passwords, and backed up daily.

11. If you are in the United States

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, and this website sets no cookies. If we emailed your business, we found it in public business listings or on your own website. Every email we send says who we are, includes our postal address (The Cottage, Clonswords, Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin, A41 W440, Ireland) and gives you a simple way to opt out; we honor opt-outs within 10 business days and do not email you again.
